GCSE RESULTS - RECORD NUMBER OF TOP GRADES We are really pleased with another set of very good GCSE results. This year there were some terrific individual achievement performances by students and they generated our highest ever proportion of A* grades. For example, our top students achieved twelve A* grades. It is a fitting tribute to all the hard work of the students and teachers over the past five years, and indeed prior to this in their primary schools. See more pictures and the results at . . . . GCSE 2010
A LEVEL RESULTS - HIGH STANDARDS ARE MAINTAINED YET AGAIN We are delighted to report that this set of results has maintained the very high standards set in previous years. We have the largest Sixth Form in Wales with over 500 entries, and three-quarters of the grades were C or above. 20 of our students achieved at least three A grades, with their successes being spread across all subjects. For example we have a student going to Cambridge to read Engineering and another to Oxford to read History. Our rate of placement of students into their first choice universities has also been excellent and our students, parents and staff are rightly celebrating their success.” See more pictures and the results at . . . . This smashes our previous best that was set in 2005. It is a fitting tribute to all the hard work of the students and teachers over the past five years, and indeed prior to this in their primary schools. Congratulations to everyone . . .
