GCSE Results- 21 August 2008 Students and staff are absolutely delighted with another excellent set of exam results. Almost 70% of the grades were at C or above and two-thirds of our Year 11 cohort achieved five or more higher grade passes. It is a fitting tribute to all the hard work that they have done with their teachers over the past five years, and indeed prior to this in their primary schools. A2/AS Level Results - 14 August 2008 We are delighted to report that this year's set of A Level results has improved upon the very high standards set in previous years. From an entry of over 500 papers, which is the largest for a Sixth Form in Wales, the pass rate was 98.4% with almost half of the grades awarded being either A or B. Our rate of placement of students into their first choice universities is excellent and our students, parents and staff are rightly celebrating their success.
