GCSE Results - August 2011
Headteacher Mr. Ashley Jones said:
“We are pleased with the very good GCSE results of many of our students, in which this year boys outperformed girls. Yet again there were some terrific individual performances that generated our highest ever proportion of A* and A grades. Over 77% of all the grades were A*-C, and 60% of the students also achieved a Grade C or above in all three core subjects of English, Maths and Science. Our target for next year is to maintain the very good results being achieved year on year by the majority of students, whilst working to raise the performance of that small proportion of students who fall just below the C grade borderline."
